The Autonomous Region of Sardinia entrusts Lattanzio KIBS with a capacity-building project focused on EU fund management

The Autonomous Region of Sardinia has launched a training programme targeting approximately 480 employees, with the goal of enhancing their skills in programming, managing, and reporting on EU funds. This initiative addresses the need to strengthen administrative capacity and improve the efficiency in the use of European resources, by bridging existing knowledge gaps and updating staff on the latest regulations and operational practices.

More details

Lattanzio KIBS supports the Regional Authority throughout all phases of the training project, delivering a comprehensive and highly specialised intervention. The programme includes a total of 500 hours of training, delivered through a combination of in-person sessions and synchronous online learning (FAD), designed to flexibly accommodate participants' needs. The curriculum covers all key operational areas related to EU funds, including planning and project design, financial and accounting management, monitoring, auditing, and expenditure certification.

A strong focus is placed on accessibility: all tools, materials, and documentation are made available also to employees with disabilities.

Upon completion, participants receive either a certificate of attendance or achievement. A final detailed report is also produced, summarising the activities carried out, learning assessment results, and participant feedback.

The project is supported by HOP, Lattanzio KIBS’ proprietary digital environment, which enables document archiving and sharing, the creation of virtual classrooms to foster interaction, dedicated forums for discussion, and detailed tracking of each participant’s activity. Thanks to this infrastructure, the learning experience extends beyond the classroom, encouraging continuous learning and greater operational autonomy.

Project Impact

Through this training programme, the staff of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia emerges better equipped, more autonomous, and capable of managing the challenges linked to EU fund management with greater awareness. The strengthening of internal expertise is not merely a technical improvement, but a strategic investment for the regional administration, allowing for more effective, transparent, and results-oriented use of European resources.
