Lattanzio KIBS takes part in UNDP program effectiveness verification process
The hosts of the program
Lattanzio KIBS has just completed the Monitoring & Evaluation activities for the projects Improving the welfare and quality of life in the Kyzylorda region e Expanding the opportunities of the Mangystau region.
The program was conducted by 6 UN agencies - UNDP, UNESCO, UNFPA, UNHCR, UNICEF, UN Women, and WHO - at the request of the Government of Kazakhstan, represented by the Ministry of National Economy and local authorities, with the aim of improving the living conditions of communities in the Kyzylorda and Mangystau regions.
An agenda for local development
This planning was structured based on the guidelines of the UNDAF - United Nations Development Assistance Framework for the Republic of Kazakhstan (2010-2015) and the Kazakhstan Strategic Development Plan - 2050, with a focus on empowerment of local populations in terms of employment, social inclusion and access to public services.
With proven experience in Monitoring & Evaluation of activities at national and international levels, Lattanzio KIBS was asked to measure the effectiveness of the Joint Program in relation to its specific objectives and to identify replicable best practices in similar programs in the future.
