The Rome Half Marathon is a prestigious running competition held annually in the capital, offering runners the chance to cross some of the Eternal City’s most iconic landmarks. Launched in 2024, the event quickly gained international prominence thanks to its unique course and high-level management. With over 17,000 participants in its very first edition, 66% of whom came from abroad, the race has established itself not only as a major sporting occasion but also as a powerful driver of tourism and cultural promotion for Rome. To ensure continuity and quality through 2028, Roma Capitale entrusted the organization to a Temporary Business Association formed by Roma Ostia ASSDRL and RCS Sport, two leading players in the international sports industry.
