With Expo Milano 2015 only a few months away, Ezio Lattanzio shares his position with respect to the Made in Italy strategy

What the Italian Decree says

The decree implementing the plan for the extraordinary promotion of Made in Italy paves the way for the allocation by the Ministry of Economic Development of 260 billion euros. Funds that will be used to increase exports while boosting Italy's ability to attract foreign investment.

A leap forward that comes less than two months before the opening of Expo Milano 2015: the big event on which Made in Italy is banking for a global revival and to boost the internationalization of its quality SMEs.

Ezio Lattanzio's point of view

'We must also be able to look at the post-Expo period. A phase in which it will be important to harmonize public and private initiatives in the most fruitful and efficient way,' points out Ezio Lattanzio, Founding Partner of Lattanzio KIBS.

'There are two types of know-how, which are increasingly strategic in the perspective of internationalization. The vertical one, which allows to act on markets. And the horizontal one, necessary to intercept and seize the opportunities that are being created,' he concluded.
